Tabitha 03:51
It’s so crazy my friend anything can happen and it pretty much it pretty much does, I’m a fish your a man I’ve got fins you’ve got hands Can we have a conversation I just swam up this stream from an ocean screaming and I still hear the motors humming and the backgrounds not blue, and it’s not far from you do you see what your doing. If you really really need me come and try to catch me don’t send monsters to hunt me I’m as tuff as nails, I’m as tuff as nails but these nails can get so rusty, no you don’t see what you do. We’ll tabithers got a big show tonight are you going to go out and see it Well tabithas got a big show tonight are you going to go out and see it Well tabithas got a big show tonight We’ll I am who I am Well I am who I am and if I wasn’t you wouldn’t have met me, well my lands are filled with creators now I know what you see, I was just about to take you down but now your looking at me. We’ll tabithas got a big show tonight are you going to go out and see it Well tabithas got a big show tonight are you going to go out and see it Well tabithas got a big show tonight

In My Head 03:25
There’s a million words on the tip of my tongue, There’s a million songs that’ll never get sung In my head, in my head. There’s a million reasons that I should stay, And a million reasons to walk away in my head, in my head. I know what I want but don’t know who to be And there’s so many people that keep telling me… to live in the real world but I don’t know where to find the place that they’re talking about. in my head, in my head I’m tired of houses that sink in the sand there’s too many bridges, alight in this land.. I want to feel naked turn off the machines, I’m searching for meaning, whatever that means. I know what you want…But don’t know how to be… and there’s so many people…That keep telling me… to live in the real world but I don’t know where to find the place that they’re talking about. In my head…In my head…In my head… Am I’m waiting for the bottom to climb? Am I waiting to breakdown To open my eyes? I’ve done that already, I’ve done that to death And I already know that it comes from a place in my head, in my head…in my head, in my head.. I can say what I want, In my head, In my head I can hear what I want, In my head, In my head, I can see what I want In my head, in my head, ….

I went for a walk, the day had begun I looked at the flowers, under the sun Look up at the sky, Look up at the sky Look up at the sky sky sky… I saw my friend, reading a book I wanted to tell him the things that I took There wasn’t much time to fill in the dots, he went back and moment was lost There’s so many things that don’t get said why do the cactuses turn red There’s so many things that don’t get said Why do these words play in my head There’s so many things that don’t get said And all that we had was A - Z And when I got home, he sent me a smile I sent him my loving, but waited a while... Look up at the sky, Look up at the sky… There’s so many things that don’t get said why do the cactuses turn red There’s so many things that don’t get said Why do these words play in my head There’s so many things that don’t get said And all that we had was A - Z

Small 04:23
You and I learnt long ago We’d blossom and we’d fall You and I learnt long ago That we’d have to endure cause we’re small The world is big and full of people building giant things So no one see us in our castle like a queen and king. Cause we’re small The road is long, Full of corners, That go on and on and on. The Places we go, Have a world below, below, below. You and I learn long a go to notice little things You and I learn long a go the value that it brings We put the food in cans and boxes sell it by the bridge We put the food in cans and boxes give it to the kids The road is long, Full of corners that go on and on and on. The Places we go, Have a world below, below, below.

Almond Tree 04:25
Looking back, what I’ve seen since leaving the almond tree, it still grows from a place no one knows, it’s secrets sleep down below, and carry on... It’s always there, like the sea, and always so honestly, like a song, without words, I can see, and know wear it longs to be, carry on.. I’ve seen enough, to know your real So now I know, I want to heal. I took a flower, brought it home, and watched it dry out alone, colours lost... wondered where they had gone taken by the summer sun with it’s with hands, I caught the tears from my face my heart didn’t want to waste memories, finally I could see how much it all meant to me. carry on... I’ve seen enough, to know your real So now I know, I want to heal. We’ve come this far to know you’re real, So know I know I want to heal, I took my tears to the tree, sat quietly on it’s knee, in the breeze blossoms fell from it’s hand, blue silently across the lands and carried on…

about

‘Look Up At The Sky’ is the second release from enigmatic Sydney Singer Songwriter Nic Cassey following his first album released in 2012 ‘Where Are you Going I just Collected Some Pellets.’

“The EP draws influences from a range styles from contemporary folk, to Aussie Rock, to classic songwriters like Cat Stevens and Paul Kelly.

A crowd funding campaign was launched in 2015 which enabled Nic to record in an amazing studio with some pro musicians that include Adam Pringle and Leroy Lee on guitar, and also introduced some new faces to the music scene such as singer-songwriter Bron Watkins, Ruby Everett and Dave Regular.

“It’s been such an amazing experience, the process of crowd funding and getting closer to my fans by keeping them up to date about the launch. They even got to vote from the demos for their favourite songs to be included on the ep”.

"I wanted my next release to be a step up from my previous album with a tighter production and the crowed funding gave me the chance to go there… large and small it's been through collaboration and support from friends that these tracks have been created… and I’m proud to be at the end of it with that chain growing stronger"

I’m grateful to everyone who played a part in these recordings, large or small. Too all the people who supported me!!! I couldn't have done it without you!!!
